whom it may concern: I am writing this on behalf of my friend Cameron Brown, concerning the accusations that have been made against Cameron Brown about the tragic death of his daughter, Lauren. I have known Cameron for almost 10 years. During this time, Cam has always been gentle and kind toward everyone that he has been around. Cam has a full-time career job with his employer for 14 years, and a wonderful family support system. I have met most of Cam's family including his Grandmother, parents, brother, wife and was also able to spend one Christmas and several dinners with his beautiful daughter, Lauren. Cam lives to have family and friends in his life. When I first met Cam he cared for his Grandmother by driving her to Senior Citizen meetings and working on her home whenever it needed something fixed. Cam was very doting and proud when it came to his daughter. Cam met Patty, his wife, shortly before his daughter came into his life and he soon realized that it was time to get married and settle down with Patty. Patty was very happy with Lauren and loved her very much. Cam's parents were very happy to have Lauren in the family and wanted to spend time with Lauren. Two detectives interviewed me about Cam and Lauren shortly after Lauren died. I told them that I thought Cam was a good parent that cared deeply for Lauren and that this was a tragic accident. The detectives seemed to be trying to concoct a story that Cam wanted to get out of paying child support by killing his own daughter that he loved and cared for very deeply. One of the detectives indicated that he would stop at nothing in order to arrest Cam. And now I see that these detectives have resorted to railroading an innocent man into jail and causing more pain to Cam who is already deeply heart broken over Lauren's death. Cam would never hurt someone over money. Cam has always had a good paying job and he was never desperate for money. Cam was never the type to have want or need for a lot of money. The whole theory by these detectives is absurd. Cameron Brown's rights under our country's Constitutional Amendments are not being served justly by these detective's actions.
